About Us
• WHAT IS MODAL?
• A modal is a type of auxiliary (helping) verb that is used to express: ability,
possibility, permission or obligation
• Modal – ialah salah satu jenis kata kerja bantuan (helping verb). Modal ini
digunakan untuk menyatakan: kebolehan, kemungkinan, kebenaran atau
tanggungjawab
• We use “can” when asking someone to do something.
• Kita menggunakan “can” bila meminta seseorang membuat sesuatu.
• We use ‘can” to talk about possibility.
• Kita gunakan “can” untuk menyatakan tentang kemungkinan
• “Can” must be use with another verb.
• “Can” mestilah digunakkan bersama kata kerja yang lain. 2
