My / Your
Possessive pronouns are used to replace a
noun and shows possession or ownership
2 of the most commonly used are:

MY: is used for something that belongs to the speaker.


 example: My house is beautiful.

YOUR: is used for something that belongs to whom the speaker is talking to or
addressing.
- Your car is expensive.
NOTE:

Your and You’re are different

Your is a possessive pronoun. Meaning, it is used to show possession or


ownership.

You’re is short for “you are”
