PERSONALITY TRAITS
What exactly is DISC?

It’s a way of describing the patterns in a


person’s behavior, and using that
knowledge to predict how they are likely to act in the
future.

DISC is the universal language of observable human


behavior or the language of “how we act.”

DISC measures behavior and emotions.

• Not a measure of intelligence


• Not an indicator of values
• Not a measurement of skills and experience
• Not a measurement of education and training
Basic Concepts

 Everyone has a bit of each style.


 Each of us tends to rely on one style.
 Blending styles adds strength to a team.
 Different styles can develop conflicts.
