Self heating rice is a newly adventured meals (Halal) using

modern technology in order to avoid microwaves and any
other methods of food heating, Self heating rice consist two
types of product self heating rice and meal ready to eat
(MRE), in various desired flavors, and products have a shelf
life of between 12 months to 2 years, kept at room
temperature.

can be heated without the hassle of electricity or fire. The solution involves a
novel packaging creating a product that heats food using an exothermic, chemical
reaction, which is triggered by immersing a custom, made heating element in
water. This self-heating MRE consists of a self-heating container which allows
consumers to easily heat up any type of cooked food up to 120°C within minutes
by adding water into a polypropylene (“PP”) food container which holds the

The food content is removed from the retort pack and placed on the white tray. The
heating element is then inserted into the red PP container itself with the white tray
placed above. Once the heating element and food are in place, the PP container is
sealed with a PP cover, which has some small holes at its surface to allow steam to
escape. Water is then added into the PP container through small orifices at both sides of
the PP container. The heating element releases heat through an exothermic reaction that
occurs when it is immersed in water. The heat released warms the food up to 120°C,
which the average heat of steam. The food will heat up and be readily edible within
minutes. However, the PP container along with the heating element has to be disposed
after use.

designed and manufactured to fit a low budget for consumers and organizations. Its

How to heat up
1.There is a heating bag in the box, open the heating bag, put it into the box.
2. open water bag and pour the water bag into the box.
3. put the plate with rice in the box.
4. open the dish bag put it on the rice plate.
5. close the box, and then box will start heating, after 8-10min, you can enjoy your meal
