OBJECTIVE

The principle objective of this project is to develop

improved integrated converters for applications of
Electric Vehicles with focus on one or more of
following points:
 Reductions of active and passive elements
 Improvement of operational efficiency
 Buck boost operations in each mode
 Reduction of stress and strain.
 Improvement of power Factor

Abstract
It is focused on evolution, analysis and design of
improved stage based integrated converters to achieve all
modes of vehicle operation i.e., plug-in charging, propulsion
and regenerative braking using single-converter for on-board
applications of Electric Vehicles.Efficiency improvement of
converter for a longer run of vehicle. To get peak efficiencies
from propulsion and regenerative braking modes upto 97.2%
and 98.1% respectively. Moreover, best control scheme for PFC
gives high power factor and low total harmonic distortion-THD.
