The Future Continuous describes an on-going or continued action that will
occur at a point of time in the future.

It is used with time phrases like:


•in two years’ time
•(by) this time next week
•at 12 o’clock tomorrow / next Saturday

Example
At this rate she will be speaking Chinese fluently in three months’ time.

The Future Perfect describes an action that will be finished by a particular
time in the future.

It is often used with by… (not later than a particular time) or in… (within a period of
time).

Example

By the end of this decade, many people will have bought electric cars.
