Second Conditional

Could(Pasado “Can”)
Might
Second Conditional

• Podemos usar 'were' en lugar de 'was' con 'I' y 'he/she/it'. Esto es

principalmente para una escritura formal. ‘They’, ‘We’, ‘You’ estos usan solo
el ‘were’.

 If he were my boyfriend, I would see him every day (Si él fuese mi

novio, le vería todos los días).
 If I were you, I would go to England (Si yo fuera tú, iría a Inglaterra).
Second Conditional
probablemente no sean verdad.
If I won the lottery, I would buy a big house.(I probably won't
win the lottery)
If I met the Queen of England, I would say hello.
She would travel all over the world if she were rich.
She would pass the exam if she ever studied.(She never studies,
so this won't happen)
Second Conditional
If I had his number, I would call him. (I don't have his number
now, so it's impossible for me to call him).
If I were you, I wouldn't go out with that man.
Second Conditional
modal (en este caso could o might) no tendríamos ningún problema,
menor. La oración quedaría de la siguiente manera:
 If I had a car, I could/might go to the beach (Si tuviera un
coche, podría ir a la playa).
Would

Second Conditional
• Algunos ejemplos:
If I won the lottery, I would travel everywhere.
If I were in Japan, I’d go to Tokyio.
If I had more money, I would buy an apartment.
If it were not raining, we could go out to play football.
If I saw him, I would ask him out.
If he had a car, he could drive a car.
