Organizational Effectiveness
• The degree to which an organization achieves its mission and goals, and the way its outputs
interact with the economic and social environment
• The degree to which an organization satisfies the needs/demands/expectations of its
constituents/external stakeholders
• To improve organizational effectiveness, management should strive for better communication,
interaction, leadership, direction, adaptability and positive environment.

Organizational Efficiency
• The degree to which an organization successfully transforms inputs into outputs
• It reflects the improvement of internal processes of the organization. Excellent organizational
efficiency could improve performance in terms of management, productivity, and quality
