EVALUATION AND PLAN UPDATE

This is the final phase of the strategic planning


process.
EVALUATION

Is the process of analyzing program and project


inputs, transformation processes, and the effect
and impact of outputs and outcomes against
explicitly stated goals and objectives.
The major objectives of evaluation are

 Determine the extent to which project goals, objectives,


and targets are achieved or not;
 Determine whom to attribute any effects and changes that
are discovered in the implementation and evaluation;
 Delineate conditions under which the project or program
is effective or not;
 Determine any unanticipated consequences or side effects
of the project; and
 Determine whether a program or project should be
modified, enriched or totally scrapped.
STAGES AND LEVEL OF
EVALUATION
A long-term strategic development plan, say
from five years and beyond, requires periodic
evaluation.
The evaluation of the entire plan should
primarily consider the vision, mission, goals and
objectives as the major basis

The substance of the plan document, should be


disseminates to every member of the
organization, from the lowly clerk and to the
highest functions.

This section includes the bibliography and


appendices. Only important documents and other
statistical reports directly related with the plan
should be included.
LEGITIMIZATION

■ Is the process of approving and declaring the


legality of the plan by authoritative bodies.
PRODUCTION AND
DISSEMINATION
Once the strategic development plan had been
approved, it is further advised that it should seek
the endorsement and approval of the said plan.
Copies of the plan should be distributed to
concerned individuals and agencies in and
outside.
