Teaching Spectrum

OFTEN SOMETIMES NEVER

WE seat in rows and columns to

copy notes while our teacher
stands before us to teach.

WE perform at least one

“hands on” activity (project
work, map reading, role
playing) in our class.

WE work in groups
during our lesson.

In our classroom, WE are

quiet and our teacher retain
full control of the classroom
and its activities.

In our classroom, WE are more

interested in learning activities
when WE can interact with one
another and participate actively.

•How often were you on one “side” and

how often were you in the “middle?”
•What does this activity teach you
about your classroom?
•What did you learn from the activity?
