Course Description
This course gives the graduate student a
comprehensive view of policy formulation and
analysis focusing on the core areas of
policymaking, policy implementation, and
effective delivery, policy review and evaluation,
and the basic methods of policy analysis and
planning.
Course Outcomes
At the end of the course, graduate students will
be able to:
1. Gain essential understanding on the basic
components of policy formulation and
analysis
2. Gain an overview on policy making at
school levels including programs,
projects, and activities of the DepEd and
CHED that are related to educational
policy making.

The reflection paper shall contain the following:


Insights from the topics previously discussed .
Reflection focusing on realizations and applications to
specific education situation/s.
Further, search for articles/literatures/theories which can
support the discussion.
