GOD'S LOVE AND HIS

PLANS FOR US
BY: KIM IAN CORDUA
God's Crazy Dream (Isaiah 65:17-25)
All of us have our own crazy dream, but did you know even God has his own
crazy dream? Not for himself, but for us.
"For I know what my plans for you are, plans to save you and not to harm
you, plans to give you a future and to give you hope." -Jeremiah 29:11

This is all because of His great love for us. This is his
great plan for us.
I believe God brought you here, to hear about His love, and His plan in your
life.
"If God loves us so much, why are our lives and situations so different from
his plans?"
WHY?

"Be glad forever and rejoice in what I create; for I create Jerusalem to be a joy
and its people to be a delight." -Isaiah 65:18
yet, several countries are at war, in famine.
WHY?

"No longer will my people build houses for others to dwell in; no longer will
they plant for others to eat the harvest." -Isaiah 65:22
and still, several people are slaved and there comes crime and corruption.
WHY?

Broken relationships, broken families, youth addicted to drugs, tantrums and

whatsoever.
THAT’S WHY…
Whenever we CHOOSE to go against God (or the authorities He has placed
over us: parents, school authorities and the government) we continue to
choose suffering, pain, difficulties.

"Si God, parang parents natin yan, wala yang gugustuhin kundi ang mapabuti
tayo.."
BUT GOD DID NOT END IT WITH THAT!
God wants us to experience the fullness of life but, still, we continue to
disobey his commandments and follow our own preferences instead.
By choosing to turn away from his promise, God could have just as well
chosen to turn away from us, destroy us and etc.
But instead, He decided that His love, His mercy should prevail.
He began by sending his prophets.
And just like what John 3:16 stated,

“ For God so loved the world that he

gave his one and only Son, that whoever
believes in him shall not perish but have
eternal life.”
Sins separate Man from God
But, Jesus bridges the separation
"God loves everyone of us, as if there was only one of us to love." -St.
Augustine

God has a seemingly insane love for us. A love that would suffer even death
on a cross. Even if you were the only one who needed saving, God would do it
all for you.

Let's respond to this love by loving God back, seek Him during the camp.
