HMI for PLC

Step 1: Double Click on Device, new window
will appear
Step 2: Right Click on the white screen of device configuration
and click “Device Toolbox (X)” new window will appear
Step 3: On the Device tools Box, click “Device manager” new
window will appear
Step 4:Double on click serial port to be added on the device
chosen, see next image.
Step 4: To add a PLC for device chosen, expand +PLC, expand your specified
brand (+siemens), highlight specific model (+S7200PPI) and click add and a
pop window will appear see next image
Step 5: click Yes. Click OK to save Device Manager settings. See next image
Step 6: Double Click first “serial port” and next double click
“Siemens_S7200PPI “. serial port and siemen_S7200PPI must appear on
device configuration. See next image
Step 7: Double Click on serial port and set the following: See next image
•serial port to 0 – COM1
•data check mode to 2 - even
Step 8: Click OK to accept changes and close device
configuration and save it to accept changes
 HMI now is
ready for PLC
