still Nissan. Up to this age it became

partners. Now at this age Cagsawa is
dedicated to serve Bicolano people
in the field of transportation.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION
The procedure for their booking a ticket is
still manual, which is considered a
bitlaborious. Especially during peak seasons
such as summer, Christmasseason, and other
special occasions. People would wait at a
long line just to get a ticket. No one would
want this kind of process. This proposed
system will help the Company realize the
convenience of an automated reservation
process.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION
The proposed system is aimed to change
their manual process into an automated one,
for faster reservation services for the benefit
of the customers, personnel and the entire
company. It will automate the manual
procedure to ensure convenience and easy
procedures for the client, and the company.
The proposed system can also store and keep
data regarding customers for emergency
purposes. And with this feature the Company
can track down problems that will occur.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION
Mainly, the proposed system will motivate
and persuade Transportation Company’s
especially ones who is not using Automated
Booking system to consider using the
proposed project.
SCOPE AND LIMITATIONS
Introduce their organization of the advantages and
convenience of using of Computer as a medium for the
ticketing and booking process.
Design and develop a Reservation system, for the Company of
Cagsawa Travel and Tours, which will help improve its
Ticketing and Booking Services for their customers
Makes it easy to transact and facilitate ticketing and
reservation process for the company.
With the proposed Ticketing and Booking system the company
can provide convenience and easy access for the customer
To enable the Company to keep and secure all important
data regarding the customers
EXPECTED RESULTS
Fully implement the complete and
functioning Ticketing and Booking System
that would eliminate the manual process of
ticket reservation and make use of computer
as a tool for reservation process.
The proposed system will help aid the
company in their progress and development.
INTRODUCTION
After conducting the interview with the
company, Problems are found and carefully
analyze. The purpose of this preliminary
investigation is to define and explain what
actions shall be made and how long and how
it is going to be carried out. Upon completion
of the preliminary investigation, it will
provide complete detailed information for
future enhancements in either the system
itself and or both technical and
administrative.
SYSTEM REQUEST SUMMARY
The problem mentioned during the interview
with the company is the manual process of
booking system which is very tiring especially
in peak seasons. And sometimes the need for
storing old documents related to its
customers for some important or emergency
purposes.
PRELIMINARY FINDINGS
Problems found during the investigation:
The procedure for their booking a ticket is still
manual, which is considered laborious. Especially
during pick seasons such as summer, Christmas season,
and other special occasions. Sometimes it causes
customers loss. Because Customers would rather just
choose better services.
People would wait at a long line just to get a ticket or
book for a reservation. No one would want this kind of
process because inconvenience.
Old records are hard to retrieve or might be lost when
the time you want to retrieve it.
Personnel and customers tend to have an argument for
misunderstanding because of mistakes cause of many
customers flowing n during peak seasons.
PRELIMINARY FINDINGS
The following factors that contribute to the
booking system problems:
As the population grows customer demands
are rising which the company are finding it
hard to meet because sometimes they can’t
afford to have an automated booking system.
The main reason is budgetary control.
The company services are limited a rural
area, specifically in Bicol region.
Advertisement for the company.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Introduce the company to the advantages of
having an automated booking system
Full implementation of the proposed project

A use of Databank storage for old documents
such as old tickets used by old customers in
case of some emergency.

The estimated time will require 3 months or
more. The creation and implementation of
the said system will consume a lot of time
considering the company doesn’t have an
existing booking system. All required actions
and efforts shall be made in the given
allotted time for the system analyst and
other personnel that would help in
developing the booking system
