INTRODUCTION

Peer Pressure  is an influence when a  peer group, or individual

encourages another person to change their  values, or  behaviours.
Peer pressure is a powerful mental force that influences
everyone, but tends to more strongly affect people in their
teenage years. It can be both good and bad depending on what
they are being pressured to do. Peer conformity in young people is
most pronounced with respect to style, taste, appearance, ideology,
and values.
Popular adolescents are more
strongly associated with their peer
groups likes such as alcohol,
tobacco and  drugs. Some studies
also show that many popular
students also make lower grades
than less socially accepted kids.
OBJECTIVES

•To understand the causes of peer pressure.

•To study the effects of peer pressure.
•To explore the extent of peer pressure.
•Analyze the influence of family, peers, culture, media, technology,
and other factors on health behaviours.
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

Our project has been created by using 2 methods i.e. by primary

research method and secondary research method. Primary research
started with preparation of questionnaire for getting review of people’s
around us. After taking the review from questionnaire, we have taken
help of secondary research i.e. By taking the basic information by the
use of internet. We have taken information from various websites the
most common source is Google.
Therefore, our project is prepared by the use of both methods primary
and secondary data.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, I think that peer pressure is a great thing at times and

also an awful thing. If you start to worry or feel pressured into doing
something you don't want to stand up to them. If you are too
frightened to stand up, tell a teacher or an adult about your situation.
Peer pressure isn’t always a negative thing. It can be a positive
influence and help challenge or motivate you to do your best. However,
it’s helpful to recognize that peer pressure can also be negative. It can
result in you doing something that doesn’t fit with your sense of right
and wrong.
