Understanding Harmony in

the Nature and Existence

Nature is part of our life. We grew out of the seed, the
earth, and we are part of all that,
but we are rapidly losing the sense that we are animals
like the others.
Nature is those mountains, snow-clad, with dark
blue valleys and range of hills meeting the sea.
The universe is part of nature. One must have a feeling
for all this, not destroy it, not kill for one’s pleasure or
one’s table
Can you have a feeling for a tree,
look at it, see the beauty of it
listen to the sound it makes?
Can you be sensitive to the little
plant, to the light on the leaves

One must be aware of all this and have

that sense of communion with nature
around you.

When birds sit on top of chimneys for warmth, they can

inhale toxic fumes—if the chimney is uncapped, they
can fall in and die.

Garbage Dump Dangers

Animals die tragically when they push their faces into
discarded food containers to lick them clean and get
their heads stuck inside, so when you recycle, do the
following:
Rinse out each tin can, put the cover inside so that no
little tongues will get cut, and crush the open end of the
can as flat as possible.
Wild Animals Make Good Neighbors
A single bat can catch up to 1,000 mosquitoes in an hour,
so many people encourage them to settle in their yards
by building bat houses

Four order of Nature
Material Order
The big land mass of the continents,
gigantic water bodies like ocean and seas,
mountains and rivers,
The atmosphere above,
the heaps of metals and mineral
the dense gases and fossil fuels
Pranic Order

Our land mass is covered with grass and small shrubs

and they form the lining on the entire soil.
Shrubs, plants and trees form huge forest along
with the flora in the ocean.
Animal Order:
Animals and birds form the third largest
order and we call them the animal
order or jiva avastha.

Animal Order helps enrich the soil

with its excreta and these excreta
help the plants with nutrients.
The Plant/Bio Order provides food
for animals, birds and fishes.
The Animal Order helps in pollination
of the flowers of the Plant/Bio- order.
The relationship across all three orders
is - naturally one of mutual fulfillment
Human Order
Human are the smallest order and they are referred to
as human order or gyana avastha.
Animals are far greater in quantity as compared to the
human order.
Interconnectedness and mutual
fulfilment among the four orders of
nature
In nature all the three orders other than human order
are mutually
fulfilling for themselves as well as for human beings
Due to lack of right understanding, the Human order
is not yet able to ensure mutual fulfillment. This can
be seen in the form of
problems such as pollution, resource depletion,
extinction of animals, global warming and threats to
human race on earth
Recyclability and self-regulation in
nature
There are several cyclical processes that we can see in
nature.

For example the cycle of water, evaporating, condensing

and precipitating back to water giving the weather
phenomena.
The quantity of water on the surface of earth remains
conserved by itself, no need for human intervention.
We have studied cycles of carbon, oxygen and nitrogen in
nature in our school.
Breeds of plants and animals are similarly self-
regulated in their environment
Recyclability and self-regulation in
nature
The cycles keep these materials self-regulated on the
earth.

In a forest, the growth of trees takes place in a way so

that the amount of soil, plants and animals remains
conserved.

 It never happens that the number of trees shoots

up and there is lack of soil for the trees
RBI guidelines for banks- Increase usage of electronic
payment, gradual phase-out of cheques.
PNB- Promotion of rainwater harvesting
tree plantation, reduced usage of paper and communicating
more online mode.
Electricity Audit, energy efficient lights
Green Pledge.
ICICI- E Statement, E greeting, E branches funding green
projects.
SBI- Installed 10 windmills, funding green projects, Green
Homes (concession on environment friendly home loan)
HDFC- ATM and mobile banking promotes paperless
transactions.
Nike Sustainable Shoes
The Nike VaporMax 2
Random uses excess
Flyknit yarn (that would
have otherwise gone to a
landfill) to create a one-
of-a-kind shoe
S

Since 2010, more than

three billion plastic
bottles have been
diverted from landfills
and converted into
recycled polyester for
Nike performance
products, such as
new Nike Vapor football
kits with Aeroswift
technology
NikeLeveragesthePowerofSporttoGetKidsMoving
Nike is serving the next
generation of athletes by
raising awareness of the
physical inactivity
epidemic and working with
others to get kids moving.

Because research shows

that active kids are
happier, healthier and
more successful
AIM- Zero Waste
By FY20 Nike aims to have
zero waste from contracted
footwear manufacturing sent
to landfill without energy
recovery.
Nike transforms old shoes
and manufacturing scrap
into high-performance
Nike footwear and apparel as
well as high-quality sports
and play surfaces,
including courts, tracks
and more
The new stadium incorporated
LED and eco-friendly lighting
throughout.
rubber material recovered from
the manufacturing of Nike
footwear and recycled into
granules to maximize playability
and reduce waste.
Notable changes include
replacing the turf
with 282,000 pounds of Nike
Grind Infill (material made
from recycled footwear),
