INTRODUCTION
The word CLAYGO is an abbreviation of the phrase
“Clean As You Go” . “ A clean as you go policy is a
cleaning strategy used to minimise risks to hygiene,
health and safety. The clean as you go method involves
taking opportunities to clean continually throughout
the working day and making cleaning part of your daily
routine to ensure that surfaces, equipment, waste and
the premises are clean, hygienic, and clutter free.”
TARGET AUDIENCE:
Our target audience will be the students, faculty and staff of AISAT because
we want the institution to have a cleaner environment and have more
disciplined individuals. We want to show the world that we are not only
good in academics but also are disciplined in etiquette. We’d also want to
change the perspective of other people that AISAT students can embody the
values that are taught in school to the outside world. Actually we, AISAT
students aim to have a better and cleaner environment as it will be reflected
on our own attitudes. Implementing this kind of project, adheres that what
we have is for the improvement of our school and environment.
KEY CONTENT:
A Clean-As-You-Go policy is about keeping the work
area clean and tidy at all times whilst working. Here
are the ways towards a clean and harmonious AISAT
Community; First is, after eating, separate leftovers
from the food trays. Second, place the food trays to
the designated bins. Third, do not leave food wrappers
on the long table. Fourth prevent spillage of drinks and
sauces. Lastly, remind your friends to do the same!
 PURPOSE
× The purpose as to why we chose this advocacy for our
infomercial is because of the fact that trash in general has
become an alarming problem in the Philippines. These
small things could block a water draining system and dirty
the bodies of water that has an affect not only on wildlife
but to us the people as well. This infomercial serves as a
constant reminder to the AISAT students to not only
embody this practice/policy at school but also outside in
their homes and parks etc.,. Another purpose as to why
this advocacy is important is because CLAYGO also helps
with one’s self since it has been proven in previous
studies that maintaining cleanliness and organization
encourages and promotes students to learn better in
cleaner environments than unhygienic classrooms.
RECOMMENDATION:
Through different social media
platforms such as Facebook or
Twitter. It is to implement
CLAYGO, not only to the AISAT
Community but also to those
people outside AISAT that needs
to be reminded to be aware of
their own trash/disposables.
