UNITY
1. The principle of Unity deals with visual composition in
design. ... Unity therefore deals with the arrangement
of building materials and building parts (floor, wall,
roof, column, beam, etc) to create a good
composition.
2. Design theory describes unity as the way in which the
different elements of a composition interact with one
another. A unified layout is one that works as a whole
rather than being identified as separate pieces
3. A dominating mass placed at central or at a convenient
4. place to makes it a point of importance and destroy
the
5. duality or competition.
BALANCE
• Balance is the distribution of weight or force
among visual units. It can be nature, landscape
etc.
• Balance, one of the key principles of design, refers
to the way visual elements are arranged so that
their visual weight harmonizes with the other
elements in the design, and the composition gives
an appearance of properly distributed elements.
• Types of balance
• Symmetrical balance
• Asymmetrical balance
• radial balance
