SEPHORA MIDDLE EAST

Retail Leadership Studio: Sephora ME Presentation

2020
Retail Leadership Studio Overview

What is it? The Retail Leadership Studio is a series of developmental activities for our Retail Leaders.

Who are the participants? Participants include Retail Area Managers/Supervisors, Store/Shop Managers, and Supervisors.

What is the purpose?

• To challenge and develop our retail leaders

• To identify strengths in each individual leader, and as well identify common opportunities seen amongst our leaders so that we can build more specialized training &
development in the near future

• To create a high performing culture with transparent feedback conversations

Who are the assessors? Assessors include a mix of unbiased individuals: head office employees, commercial leaders, and external assessors.

How will you ensure assessors are unbiased and fair? All assessors will go through a ‘train the trainer’ to understand expectations on how to evaluate.

How did you select participants and assessors? Selection for this round of participants and assessors was made by HR & Commercial leaders. There will be future opportunities
for participants to be selected, but we cannot tackle everyone at once!

What to expect after the Leadership Studio? Observations and feedback from the Leadership Studio will be shared with the direct manager which they will then share with each
of their employees who participated. The feedback shared will highlight both strengths and areas of development that were observed. With their manager, they can create a
development plan to maximize their strengths and identify developmental opportunities.
