Welcome To Our Presentation…
INTRODUCTION

– Learning a second language is never easy. Learning

English is as a second language is ever less easy.
Particularly if you are learning English out side of
an English-speaking country. For instance, English
language learners in Asian countries like India,
Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal , Myanmar , Bhutan
and some other countries face a lot of problems
because English is not the native language of our
country.
WHY STUDENTS OF OTHERS
COUNTRIES SPEAK BETTER
ENGLISH
• English is mother tongue .
• They are the native speakers of English language.
• Educational system & environment .
• They know huge vocabulary .
• They have basic idea of grammar .
• They practice more and more .
THEY FACE OFTEN THE FOLLOWING
CHALLENGES
WHAT ARE THE PROBLEMS
OF SPEAKING ENGLISH

• Listening :
Remember that when you're having a conversation, you're
only talking about 50% the time the other 50% is spent listening
to the other person speak. If you don't understand what the other
person is saying, it's difficult to reply.
• Vocabulary:
Sometimes when you're speaking English, you have a
sentence in mind, but you're missing two or three important
vocabulary words and then it becomes difficult to say what you're
thinking.
WHAT ARE THE PROBLEMS
OF SPEAKING ENGLISH

• Pronunciation:
English words can be difficult to pronounce and when
speaking English, you have to consider not only the
pronunciation of the individual words, but also the
connection between the words in the sentence.
• Confidence:
If you feel nervous and are afraid of making a mistake
while speaking English, then your problem is confidence.
There are three things that can help increase your confidence.
UNQUALIFIED TEACHERS

– This is the most significant problems. The problems is hard

to solve cause many communities are English language
earners, they can’t determine who is a good teacher and who
isn’t. whatever the teacher says, whether correct or incorrect,
will be taken as correctly by learner. A matter of confusion is
that different teachers tell them different things. One of the
main causes of this problem is the difficulty teachers have
translating from their native language. For instance the world
cup is pronounced by different teachers as either or with a
vowel sound that does not exist in English.
STUDENT BECOME TOO
DEPENDENT ON THE
TEACHER
– Part of learning anything means figuring out how
to solve problems on your own. If a student goes to
the teacher whit every little problem he/she runs
into, then student will never be able to learn the
language on their own. If students insist that they
don’t know how to say or do something on their
own, they need to be reassured that they actually
can with positive feedback and encouragement.
HOW TO OVERCOME THIS
PROBLEMS

– • First, practice some listening EVERY DAY. All

you need is 10-15 minutes per day to develop your
listening skills.
– • Memorize some phrases that you can use in
conversation when you don't understand something.
– • Learn more vocabulary words! But there's a good
way to learn new words. The way is to read lists of
words and definitions and try to memorize them.
HOW TO OVERCOME THIS
PROBLEMS

• There are two things that can help you improve your
English pronunciation. One way is to take a
pronunciation course. Another way to improve your
pronunciation is to keep practicing your listening
• Don't worry too much about grammar! Just do your
best to communicate, and you'll often be successful even
if you do make a small grammar mistake.
• practice speaking English as much as possible in low-
pressure situations.
IMPORTANT OF ENGLISH
LANGUAGE IN THE
CLASSROOM
– Student learn another language best when they are
forced to use it. Teacher must be vigilant or
cautious about requiring student to communicate
in English and only in English even they are just
talking to each other.
CONCLUSION

– The classroom can be a effective place to learn

English speaking skill. A regular speaking activity
in the classroom can build students confidence
and therefore help them to overcome the
challenges. It is important to make clear that
English is a 'language' and not only a 'subject' to
memorize and pass.
