IE: Internal Excitation

• IE: Internal Excitation

• With “IE” excitation, the A.V.R. is powered by two auxiliary windings
which are independent of the voltage detection circuit.
• This principle ensures that regulation is not affected by distortions
created generated by the load.
• IE will replace SE as the low cost alternative to a permanent
magnet.
• Capable of 300% short circuit.
• CDVR works with IE
