Adjective phrases is a group of words that describe a noun or pronoun in a sentence. Ex : The movie was not too terribly long. 2. Participal phrases is dressed up like verbs, but they function as adjective to describe nouns. Ex : The broken window needed to get repaired quickly. (broken is the past participate. It modifies window) 3. Invinitive phrases is the infinitive form of a verb plus any complements (direct object) and modifiers (adverb). Ex : To dance is thrilling for me. (to dance is invinitive. It function as a noun in the sentence, acting as a subject) 4. Question is a type of sentence that requires an answer. Ex : Who will be the governor of Jakarta?
