Engineering &
Operation

© Chevron 2005 DOC ID

What is Completions?
 After the co-location of Chevron South and
North we will have an integrated Drilling &
Completions Department
 The Completions group is the former Well
Services group
 This group will take care of all Chevron
well interventions performed in the Gulf of
Thailand
 We will establish a single, standard work
process for completions and interventions

Completion Group
 Within the Completions group we will have
two main functions
 Engineering: This function will work closely with the
PE’s in the asset teams to identify opportunities for
well intervention. These jobs will then be planned
and prioritized. The final product will then be
passed on to Operations for execution
 Operations: This function, in concert with
Engineering, will focus on execution. The prime
objective of Operations will be to insure that all well
work opportunities will be performed in a safe and
efficient manner
