D. Any Distraction that take the Focus off the Lord
Changed of Eliminated.
Discuss practices that may take away from emphasis on
the Lord in our present day services. If we think of any, let
us either change it, of take it out of the worship service.
Let’s keep Christ central in the Church.
A LIFE OF PRAYER
When a Christian shines fellowship with other Christians,
the devils smiles. When he stops studying the Bible, the
devil laughs. When he stops praying, the devil shout for
joy
Prayer is the foundation for worship in the sense that
worship is fundamentally an expression of prayer. Our
expression and theology in the arena of prayer has a direct
effect on our ability to facilitate the sung prayers of the
congregation.
The Worship leader is a prayer leader.
If worship is our prayers set to music
If worship leading is leading the congregation in sung
prayer
If prayer is the language of worship
Then the life of the worship leader is a life devoted to
prayer
