The main agenda of E-Mentoring
program is:
•Maintaining profiles of students
•Conducting tests
•Introduce students to mentors
•Suggestions and motivations to students.

•Manual system gives less security.

•There is no Email and chat facility

•Providing various tests and tutorials is critical

•Sending progress report should be done manually

 Proposed System
The development of the system contains activities which try to
develop the web-application entire process keeping in the view of
data base integration approach.
The activities are:
• Can be accessed over the internet
• User information files can be stored in centralized database
• Security is provided for user information
• Authentication is provided only for registered members
• Members can share data to others
 Modules
E-Mentoring program is developed to guide students
especially women in their professional education.
Inorder to achieve it four kinds of users are identified
to be interacting.

• Working Women (Mentor)
• Data Manager
• Master Mentor (Advisor)

A profile should be maintained for each and every
registered student. Profile matching should give results of best
suited mentor for each student based on the profile.

 Working women(Mentor)
A wise and trusted counselor or teacher is called a mentor. To serve
as a trusted counselor or teacher to another person.

 Data manager
In this system Data Manager is tread as an administrator. He can
have all the privileges in this system, like he can register students,
mentors, NGO’s in this system. He can insert necessary data into the
system using his administrative user interface
 Master mentor
Mentor could suggest certain students who according to them
require assistance in non-technical matters to members of the
registered NGO’s thus enabling a private communication
between the student and the NGO.
This could also be a platform for conducting various e-
conferences on gender quality and related issues.A regular news
letter should be sent to various universities to make them aware
of the e-monitoring system.
