objectives
At first stage of operation of biometric electronic voting machine finger prints are stored
in the scanner. This process is called logon process, a fingerprint for each entry twice,
and the second input image processing, synthetic templates are stored in the module.
Before logon process different user ID is inserted for different voter.
In time of voting the finger print of a voter is taken first. This finger print is matched with
the stored finger print in the scanner.
If finger does not match the voter is not permitted to vote.
If finger print is matched the scanner supply a number to the IC and blocked that finger
so that it can’t be used any more. The stored program into the IC perform a logical
operation and permit the voter to select the candidate. To ensure that the same person
presses the button, finger print is matched second time. If finger print is matched then
the corresponding counter count the vote. If the finger print does not match second
time vote is not counted.
A authorization code is used so that any voter can’t see how much votes are got by the
candidates. The process of voting is discussed by a flow chart below.

Benefits
The votes are automatically counted so,. as soon as the voting time end the
authority can declare the result of voting.
In Biometric Electronic Voting Machine, it is not possible to vote by one person more
than once.
Illegal voting can be removed by it. As the finger print of one person is different from
another, it is not possible to vote by a person of another
