WHAT IS STRESS?

•Stress is a state of strain, whether it is physical or


psychological
•A conscious or unconscious psychological feeling or physical
situation which comes as a result of physical or mental
“positive or negative pressure” to overwhelm adaptive
capacities
CAUSES OF STRESS
• There are many causes of stress. Some of them are;
i. Being bullied
ii. Working too hard

v. Death in the family

STRESS MANAGEMENT
•Stress can be effectively managed in many
different ways. The best stress management plans
usually include a mix of stress relievers that
address stress physically and psychologically and
help to develop resilience and coping skills

•Get social support
•Meditate
