Demonstrate the talents of

PWD's and
Underprivileged Sectors of
Society

 One of the major reasons why many PWDs
enterprises fail because of the lack of market for
their products.
As of 2014, the National Statistics
Office estimated that about 1.44
million Filipinos have some form of
disability in the employable 15-64
years old age bracket.
 Executive Order 417 mandates all national
government agencies and state-run corporations
to allot at least one percent of their annual
budget for programs that will benefit the sector.
Further, EO 417 addresses the need for
government to provide capitalization
for PWDs livelihood activities, which
include support for technical skills
through labor department.
-Disability is considered
a development issue
because of its
relationship to poverty.
 
-Poverty may increase
the risk of disability.
 -People with disabilities incur
additional expenses to achieve a
standard of living similar to those
without disabilities such as health
care services, costilier
transportation options, and special
diets among others.
 In relationship
to poverty,
human-
trafficking has
become a form
of modern-day
slavery.
 Globally, men, women, and
children are forced into
prostitutions,
cybersex/pornography and other
forms of exploitation that assault
human dignity.
 
SUMMARY
 Pope Francis calls this as “crimes against
humanity” and has called upon many to fight
for human dignity and sacredness of life.
 
This is what Buber calls as I-It relation,
where the other human being is percieved as
an object rather than as human being.
Being human means we are in relation with
other human beings who might be different
from us.
 
Buber, Wojtyla and various philosophers
dreamt of equality, actualization, and
participation.
The Confucian jen is similar with christian
love.
 
Jen deals with relationship with others
which can be rooted from love of one's
parents, brothers, and sisters. It instruct to
love others as we do ourselves.
 Jen (wren/zhun/run) means human
heartedness; goodness; benevolence; man-
to-man-ness; what makes man distinctively
human ( that which gives human beings
their humanity ). A compassionate love for
humanity or for the world as a whole.
 In Hinduism, the Vedantist observes the three
stage to commune with God; faith, reasons, and
experience.

Faith is the stage wherein the seeker simply

accepts the laws of nature as expression of
divine existence.
 
 Reason, the stage wherein the seeker
attempts to understand these laws by
rational and logical process; through God
is beyond the power of any created
intellect to comprehend.
 
Experience the stage wherein the seekers
overcome the wordly attachments.
