Dear Agam,

My name is Berta Ayu Noviana, but please call me Berta. I know you from my cousin Danu. He is your pen pal.
He informed me that you would attend the national jamboree this year. It is good news for me because I will attend the
event too. I hope we can meet at the event and be friend.
Allow me to tell you about myself. I am in the tenth grade of SMK Muda Karya majoring in multimedia. I am
the youngest in my family. My father, Andika Novianto, works for a textile company as tax staff. My mother, Arumi
Indriyani, runs an online shop. She sells clothes and bags. I often help her pack the orders. I have a twin brother and
sister, Rino Novianto and Rina Noviani. They study at the same university, but in different majors. My brother studies
math and my sister studies architecture.
Talking about my interests, I like playing the guitar and singing. I join a school band and become the guitarist
and backing vocal. My band often performs in school events. Besides, I’ve been active in scouts since elementary school.
I was a scouts leader when I was at junior high school. I am so excited because I have a chance to represent my
province to attend the national jamboree.
I attach my photo wearing a scouts uniform so that you will recognize me easily at the event. I look forward to
hearing from you. Thank you.
