What’s special about these examples?


Such was Luke’s excitement at seeing the mini-gold field,
that we could barely notice it was closed. (We had no
hopes, nor did we know we would find an open field just
across the street.)

So tired did he feel/was he afterwards that he fell asleep


during dinner.

Unfortunately, so outrageous was the storm, that we


couldn’t leave our room for our evening stroll.
