The French Bon voyage! translates into English as Have a good trip! or Have a good journey!

Travel= verb meaning to make a journey. A Journey is a movement from a place to another.

English: a holiday = US: a vacation. You take a holiday/a vacation, you go on holiday/vacation

To take a break, the Christmas break, the October break….
