What is Bible?
● The Bible is a collection of religious texts or scriptures sacred to Christians,
Jews, Samaritans, Rastafari and others. They generally consider the Bible to be a
product of divine inspiration and a record of the relationship between God and
humans.
● The Bible appears in the form of an anthology, a compilation of texts of a variety
of forms that are all linked by the belief that they collectively contain the word of
God. These texts include theologically-focused historical accounts, hymns,
prayers, proverbs, parables, didactic letters, erotica, poetry, and prophecies.

FRUIT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
● The fruit of the Holy Spirit refers to the nature of the Spirit revealed in the life of the
believer..
● The gifts of the Holy Spirit are for power.
● The fruit of the Holy Spirit is for character.
● Spiritual fruit is evidence of spiritual maturity.
● It is the product of natural growth in the life of the Spirit.
● The Bible speaks of two kinds of spiritual fruit:
● the outer fruit of evangelism and
● the inner fruit of godly spiritual qualities.
The fruit of the Holy Spirit also includes the following specific
qualities:
emotion of deep affection, care, and concern Love
quality of gladness, delight, and jubilance Joy
condition of quiet, calm, tranquility, and harmony Peace
an attitude of belief, expectation, and hope towards God Faith
quality of having a mild manner, not being severe, violent, or loud. Gentleness

LEADING LIKE A SERVANT

KEY VERSES:

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus; Who, being in the form of God,
thought it not robbery to be equal with God; But made Himself of no reputation, and took
upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men. (Philippians 2:5-7)
Qualities of worldly leaders that contrast the characteristics of Christian leaders

● Secular leaders have dominion over their followers


● Secular leaders exercise authority over followers
● Secular leaders are chiefs over their followers
● Secular leaders are lords over those they lead
TASKS OF LEADERS
● And He (God) gave some apostles; and some, prophets; and some,
evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints
for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PERFECTING
PROCESS
● SETTING THE EXAMPLE:
● A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone who is perfectly trained will be like
his teacher. (Luke 6:40)

● Change of economic and commercial circumstances
● Differing legal concepts / change in law
● Technical problems / defective products
● Differing views of underlying facts
● Impact of third parties / force majeure
PREVENTING CONFLICT

● Keep people well informed


● Think ahead
● Build strong relationships
● Give sincere appreciation and credit
● Accept if you make mistake
● Be clear in your purpose and plans
● Be available to your co-workers
DEALING WITH CONFLICT
● Make yourself available to deal with it
● Determine the real problem
● Deal with conflicts with a proper attitude
● Deal with one conflict or problem at a time
REASONS FOR DISCIPLINE
● Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves; for
they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they
may do it with joy, and not with grief; for that is unprofitable for
you. (Hebrews 13:17)
PRINCIPLES OF DISCIPLINE
