Internet Security
• Internet security is a Branch of computer Security specifically related to
not only internet, often involving browser security and the world wide
web, but also network security as it applies to other applications or
operating systems as a whole.
• Its objective is to establish measures to use against attacks over the
internet.
• The internet represents an insecure channel for exchanging information,
which leads to a high risk of intrusion or fraud, such as phishing, online
viruses, Trojans, worms and more.

Chatting on web
• Online chatting may refer to any kind of communication over the internet that
offer a real-time transmission of text messages from sender to receiver.
• Online chatting includes web-based applications that allow communication-often
directly addressed, but anonymous between user in a multi user environment.
• Online chatting in a less stringent definition may be primarily be any direct text-
based or video-based (wedcams), one-on-one chat or one-on-many(group chat),
using tools such as instant messengers, internet relay chat(IRC), talkers and
possibly MUDs.

• The expression online chatting came from the word “chat” which means
”internal conversation” .
• Online chats include web-based-applications that allow communication-
often directly addressed, but anonymous between user in a multi-user
environment.
Selling online
• Online selling is a form of electronic commerce which allows consumers to directly
buy goods or services from a seller over the internet using a web browser or a mobile
app.
• Online selling usually enable shoppers to use “search” features to find specific
models, brands or items.
• Online customers must have access to the internet and a valid method pf payment in
order to complete a transaction and the seller should have an account to receive to in
order for the transaction to be completed , such as a credit card, an interac-enabled
debit card, or a service such as PayPal.
Selling online
• For physical products(e.g., paperback book or clothes), the e-tailer ships
the products to the customer; for digital products, such as digital audio
files of songs or software, the e-tailer usually send the file to the customer
over the internet.
• The largest of these online retailing corporations are Alibaba ,
Amazon.com and eBay.
