Give time to guest after their arrival to feel comfortable with the environment. 2. After the guest is seated and feel comfortable then present the menu, and stand away to give time to decide what to order.
Don’t be hurry. Give proper time to guest.
Water should be brought to the table at this time 3. When you feel that the guests wants to order then approach toward them and courteously ask this way “May I take your order sir/maám? Or would you like to order now? 4. Before taking order first ensure you are prepared with notepad, a pencil or a pen, to take notes. 5. Although ordering depends on guest but try to maintain sequence that means first convince the guest to give beverage order and then food. 6. Know your menu. Guest may have different types of question. So be prepared for that. 7.Enter/write the order as the guest tells it to you. 8. Repeat the food items guest orders and ask them if they have want to have anything else to order. 9.
