1. ASSUMPTIONS
• Every person is significantly different from the moment of conception.
• Every person is constantly is a constantly active, goal-seeking organism.
• Every person is dynamic.
• The characteristics of an organization influence the behavior of the
entire organization and the behavior of individuals as well.
• Behavior cannot be predicted with 100% accuracy due to varying needs
and value system of people
• There are no definite formulas for working with people. No ideal
organizations or Ideal person exists.

2. CONCEPTS

• Almost all behavior is learned. Learning is the best step in


behaving and whatever is learned can be modified or
changed.
• Human beings adapt. What is adapted becomes part of
their culture.

3. PRINCIPLES
• Thorndike’s law of effect works and is powerful.
• Stimuli are those forces which impact the sensory organs of our
five sensory input channels. Communication in all cases, consists
of the creation of stimuli.
• Behavior is caused but its causality is uncertain and usually
multiple.
• Classical Conditioning is a powerful technique for altering the
behaviors of others. But man’s freedom of the will makes him
responsible for his actions
