☼ A Debut novel by Chetan Bhagat (2004)

☼ Five Point Someone is a story about three friends in IIT who

are unable to cope.

☼ It has been translated into Hindi and has set a record by

selling 30,000 copies in one month to become a top seller in

 Storyline
☼ It is about the adventures of three mechanical engineering
students at IIT

☼ The three hostel mates - Alok, Hari and Ryan had a bad
start in IIT - they screw up the first class quiz.

☼ And while they try to make amends, things only get worse. It
takes them a while to realize.

☼ They have a five-point-something GPA out of ten, ranking

near the end of their class.
