2
BACKGROUND
 Manually sorting and placement of product is time consuming also
low accuracy.
 In semi-automated industry the sorting and logistics division are not
interfaced hence there may be a interruption in packing and
placement.
 Semi-automated and manual industries has a high labour cost and
time break for that the continuous production may be stopped.

3
INTRODUCTION
 Arduino is an open source electronics platform which is able to read
input and turn it into an output like activating motor, turning on an
LED.
 Arduino receives data from input sensors, process the data and give
direction for conveyor output, packaging and send data character R to
initiate picking process.
 Line follower robot receives the data by Bluetooth slave module,
pick the package and placed to destination.

4
LITERATURE REVIEW
 Product sorting based on colors.
Based on Arduino UNO.
 Sorting by image processing method.
Based on Raspberry Pi.
 Automated replenishment system.
Based on PLC.
 Robotic moveable rack system.

5
OBJECTIVES

To design a sorting and logistic mechanism combinedly.

To sort the products according to their respective size.

To placed the sorted products in destination.

By integrating whole system to get a effective output.

ADVANTAGES AND APPLICATION
 Advantages:
 Sorting and warehouse segment are smartly connected so
men power can reduced.
 Increasing the reliability and quality of products also
increase the efficiency of total system.
 Simple operation and low cost.

 Applications:
 Can be used for digitalized industry.
 Can be used for improving efficiency of sorting and
warehouse compositely. 14
WORKS
Limitations:
 If the sensors of the robot go out from the track, it
cannot back into line.
 The sensors are not much powerful to cover a large
distance.

Future works:
 The robot can be programmed for reverse to find the
path if it go out from track.
 The robot can be programmed for reverse direction help
of IR sensor.
15
CONCLUSION
 The main purpose of the project to make a demo for
industrial product sort and warehouse.
 It will more efficient and less time consuming with accuracy
and low cost.
 The sorting part and warehouse work combined through
Bluetooth communication.
 To develop of the system in industry can save huge amount
of labour cost, time and the task can be completed with
more accuracy
