Competition
 The Game Board
• The board is a 4 X 4 on the outside, with
2 X 4’s as the boarders.
• The start box is measured 12 inches square
from the inside of the boarders, on the
southeast side.
• The 2 Lego people and the barrels will begin in
the start box.

• Barrels are 1 ½ diameter (written on side of PVC)
• The “X’s” that the barrels are measured from the
South Wall
• The “X’s” will be 1” by 1” going North/South and
East/West
• The “X” will be marked with black electrical tape
• Challenge 1: The barrel must be moved onto the
“X” in the upright position, with the “X”
completely covered (10 points a piece)

 Spheres
• Spheres are from the Lego Competitions
• The PVC that they are sitting on are ¾ “ PVC. The gray spheres are on 4
in tall PVC. The Blue sphere is on 2 inch tall PVC.
Challenge 2
• The spheres need to be moved off of their posts by the end of the round
(5 points a piece)
• Brought back to the start box at the end of the round (10 points a piece)
• Placed into the appropriate box by the end of the round (20 points a
piece)
• Only the highest points are scored, but if the balls are in the wrong
colored box they will only be scored as off of their post (5 points a piece)

Challenge 3
• The PVC 5” tall pipes remain standing (5 points a piece)
• These will be removed starting from the West side per
touch of the robot. If the robot is touched outside of base
it must be brought back to base to start again.
Challenge 4
• The 4” tall pipe is still standing (Center pipe) and at least
one of the 3” pipes are knocked over (10 points)
Challenge 5
• The 3” tall pipes are knocked over (5 points a piece)

 Tower
• Tower is a 12” square cogitated cardboard
• It has a 4” X 4” square centered on the cardboard
• The 5” tall ½” D pipe is centered 2” from the back of the cardboard
• The posts under the tower are 4” – ¾”D PVC
• The posts are not secured to the board
Challenge 6
• The platform must be left standing (30 points)
• The pipe in back is knocked over, but you can only receive these points if
platform is still standing (10 points)
• The Lego people are delivered inside the box (15 points a piece)
• The Lego people are touching the box (10 points a piece)
• The Lego people are on the platform (5 points a piece)
• If the platform is not standing no points are scored
