WORKPLACE ENVIRONMENT
The workplace environment affects how employees
feel about their jobs and can influence their work
habits. The physical environment is one factor that
can affect employee productivity, but the way staff
members interact and how they are treated also play
a role in the overall work climate.
Workforce Learning and Development
Workforce learning development is considered an
interconnected set of solutions to meet employment
needs. Workforce learning development can include
changes to culture, changes to attitudes, and changes
to people’s potential that help to positively influence
a business’ future success. Workforce development is
also sometimes referred to as employee development
and is considered an important aspect of business
success.
Compensation and Recognation
Compensation Reward and Recognition. This
discipline covers the various forms of direct
compensation—i.e. employee's pay including
variable pay, short and long term incentives,
company stock awards, as well as promotions and
pay increases.
Performance Management
Performance management (PM) is a process of
ensuring that set of activities and outputs meets an
organization's goals in an effective and efficient
manner. Performance management can focus on the
performance of an organization, a department, an
employee, or the processes in place to manage
particular tasks.
