A detailed set of instructions to be given to those
personnel who are to execute the operation

Purpose –

 The Management of NTUC Shopping Centre is organizing an autograph


signing session by a local popular pop group – A.B.C.

 The event will be held at the Podium on Level 1 on 18 Aug 08 between


1130 hours and 1230 hours. The crowd size is expected to be about
300. The crowd should comprise mainly of teenagers who are fans of

1. Conclude operation debriefing session by:
 Ensure security personnel signed the attendance register
(especially for the late comers)
 End session within stipulated time & dismiss security personnel

2. Follow up & brief those security personnel who did not attend
the debriefing session by:
 Communicate with them using other channels of communication,
e.g. via email, circular, telephone call & one-on-one, etc
 Make sure that they are thoroughly briefed according to the
presentation contents
 Request them to acknowledge their understanding of message

 The event has been held successfully without any major
incident except the following incidents:
 At about 0830 hours on the event day, there was a group of about
10 teenagers formed up outside the shopping centre. We have no
officer on site to manage them until the Shopping Centre Manager
informed us
 During the event proper at about 1155 hours, a young lady jumped
queue while the crowd was queuing up to go up the stage. SO B
did not notice it until someone complaint to him

 Using the principle of “praise in public and reprimand in
private” - get him to cool down and slowly explain his view

directional sign-posts are too small. What should you do?
 Reflect this observation in the Debrief Report
 Bring this matter up to the attention of the Property

debrief will be used by Facility Manager (FM) the following day
@0900 hours. Explain what you should do to tidy up the MR1 so
that FM does not have a “shock” when he uses the MR1 the next
day morning.
