    • The major dilemma of the case is to see what are Musk’s plans for the future of Tesla. Would he want to make Tesla the
    leader in auto sector, would he strive to make Tesla the pioneer of sustainable energy for the coming future or would Tesla
    become a battery manufacturer.
    • Critics as well as general public was keeping a close watch about which direction Tesla was going to take with the
    acquisition of SolarCity and expansion of Gigafactory.
    • Though Tesla was continuously loosing cash, still Musk was convincing investors to bet big on Tesla. Was it just about
    building an affordable electric car or was it something bigger that Musk was eyeing.
    • The question to be answered on the case is would Musk be able to realize his ambitious goals or was he taking too many
    risks with his investors' money?
