engage in philosophical
question?
What is the value
of philosophy?
Philosophy is the love of wisdom and so
it is the pursuit of truth.
There is truth to be discovered in our
daily experiences.
When we figure some things out, we
become less ignorant.
 We encounter various things or
phenomena.

 These phenomena sometimes stimulate

our sense of wonder and desire to make
sense of experience..
 Philosophical questions are rational inquiries
about phenomena/things that appear to us
through experience.

When we engage in philosophy, our goal is

to become wise – either theoretically or
practically.
“Where ignorance
is our master,
there is no real peace.”

is not worth living.”

of good and bad.”

questionable cultural values.
