Step 1  First, you will need a green card.
Step 2  Meet rules in order to be a citizen
  If you don’t meet them, consider waiting longer or take other

  File some papers with USCIS and attach your green card with
Step 4 it.
  Perform a background check in order to process the application
Step 5 which the FBI will run a fingerprint check for any information.
Step 6  Apply for an interview with a USCIS officer.
Step 7  Keep your status perfect before the Oath Ceremony
  Then you will be given oath to loyalty of the U.S through the
Step 8 ceremony.
