MUMBAI -Mumbai is based on the Salsette Island that is located at the opening of Ulhas


River, in the coastal region known as Konkan. It covers the total area of 603 square km.

Nashik lies in the northern part of Maharashtra state at 584 m (1,916 ft)[10] from the mean
sea level which gives it ideal temperature variation, particularly in winters. [1]

Pune, formerly known as Poona (Marathi: [puɳe] (listen) English: /ˈpuːnə/;[17][18][19][20][21]), is the


second largest city in the Indian State of Maharashtra, after Mumbai, and the eighth most
populous city in India, with an estimated population of 7.4 million as of 2020.[22] It has been
ranked as "the most livable city in India" several times. [23]
