When Jesus saw Zacchaeus, he invited himself to his house. Zacchaeus then declared that he would give half his possessions to the poor and repay anyone he had cheated four times the amount, showing his desire to repent from his sins. Jesus said salvation had come to Zacchaeus' house because he too was a son of Abraham and Jesus had come to seek and save the lost.
