Different Ecosystem

The Aquatic Ecosystem
It is found in water.
It is known that about 97% of the world’s
surface is composed of water.
This is subdivided into two kinds- the marine
ecosytem and the freshwater ecosystem.
The Marine Ecosystem
The marine ecosystem is in the region
where water is salty like that of the ocean
and sea.
Animals such as dolphins, whales, corals
and shellfish are some of the animals that
live in this kind of ecosystem.
Plants and algae are also found in this
ecosystem.
The freshwater ecosystem includes ponds,
lakes, rivers and streams.
Water animals such as hito (catfish) and
bangus (mailkfish) are found in these
places.
Crocodiles and frogs are also found near
some lakes and ponds.
The Terrestrial Ecosystem
Terrestrial ecosystems are ecosystem that
are found primarily on land.
Terrestrial ecosystem includes forests,
grasslands and deserts.
Forests are usually characterized by diverse
plants, including tall trees and climbing
plants.
Grassland is usually dominated by grasses
with few trees or shrubs.
Many animals live in this kind of ecosystem.
These include grazing animals such as
goats and cows.
 Insects such as grasshoppers, beetles and
ants are also found in these areas.
