Natural resources play a significant role in

our country's progress. Many scientists and
naturalists say that the Philippines is one of
the richest countries in the world in terms of
flora and fauna diversity.
REPUBLIC ACT 9512

It is also known as the National

Environmental Awareness and Education
Act.

This act primarily aims to promote

national awareness on how environmental
conservation and economic growth go
hand in hand in achieving long-term
sustainability of our national resources.
The law particularly points out the role of
the youth in maintaining balance and
harmony with the environment.

This act considers the collaborative effort

of several agencies for its full
implementation.
