What is Value?

It literally means the worth or importance of a


particular thing.

Some things have value than the others. Things with


greater value are the most preferred and given priority
by individuals.

Preamble
We, the sovereign Filipino people, imploring the aid of Almighty God,
in order to build a just and humane society and establish a Government
that shall embody our ideals and aspirations, promote the common
good, conserve and develop our patrimony, and secure to ourselves and
our posterity the blessings of independence and democracy under the
rule of law and a regime of truth, justice, freedom, love, equality, and
peace, do ordain and promulgate this Constitution.
Section two:

PAGKAMAKA- DIYOS
1. FAITH IN ALMIGHTY GOD
FAITH refers to the deeply-rooted submission to
a divine being, person, or belief system.

- Is respecting the precept that every life is a gift and
therefore deserves to be born and given the
opportunity to show his/her worth to the society.

- Man has the right to be treated with dignity and all


his basic human rights upheld and protected.
3. ORDER
-It is manifested when situations move in their proper course.

-Customs and traditional values set the standard of behavior in


many communities in the Philippines, esp. those in the
countryside.

-In Urban areas, human conduct is governed by bodies or rules


formulated and imposed in accordance with existing legal
framework.
4. WORK
- it refers to the use of one’s physical and mental
abilities to satisfy his/ her needs.

- engaging in productive work adds dignity to one’s


as is and also a way of showing appreciation to the
gift of talents and abilities by GOD.

5. CONCERN FOR THE FAMILY AND FUTURE GENERATION

Family is the basic foundation of the society.

It is in the Family where a young individual begins to


develop his character and establishes the foundation of his/ her
future.

It would be impossible to build a strong nation while


positive family values are kept.

the domain reserved for human utilizations.
