1. HIGH SPEED HANDSPIECE

The hugh speedhandpiece is a precision device for removing dental
tissue efficiently and quickly without pressure, heat or vibration and
cutting teeth without obstacles.

A beveled conventional preparation is indicated All internal angles should be rounded
for treat- ment of a large lesion. The initial axial to avoid any stress concentration
wall depth should be kept 0.5 mm into dentin points

The bevel is prepared at an angle of 45 degrees to the

tooth surface with a width of 0.25 to 2 mm, depending on
the amount of retention required

Nanohybrid Composites RESTORATION
Nanohybrid composites have average particle size less than that of microfilled
composites. The introduction of these extremely small llers and their proper
arrangement within the matrix results in physical properties equivalent to the
original hybrid composite resins. dvantages to nano composites

• Optimal mechanical properties
• Good handling charactersitics
• Good color stability
• Stain resistance
• High wear resistance
• Can be used for both anterior and posterior restorations and for splinting teeth
with fiber ribbons

Finishing and
polishing
The finishing refers to all procedure associated with contouring and eliminating FINISHING AND
excess at the margins. After curing lights of 20 seconds per layer, the
surface was defined with a finishing diamond bur, and then the polishing POLISHING
was done using finishing discs. Discs play different roles in contouring and
finishing of the anterior teeth. They were used for removing excess
composite, shaping composite and defining anatomical structures and
features. Creating a textured surface required finishing and polishing the
proximal and labial surface to create an ideal contour surface texture and to
place conservative development groove using a finishing discs.

Final polishing, with the use of composite resin, can performed with abrasive
slurries. 
• Polishing paste such as aluminum oxide powder can be used on microfilled
composites and some small particle hybrid using polishing cusps and
wheels. 
• Plastic polishing strip was also used for finishing and polishing. The strip
provides a smooth surface for microfilled composites, and an excellent
material for final finishing of proximal areas, and also tear-resistant. The
microfilled composites that were placed as an external layer on the hybrid
composites improve esthetic values after polishing.
