DRUGS & MEDICINES
Drug abuse isn't just about street drugs. Besides
marijuana, legal medicines are the most commonly
abused drugs. Drug abuse can lead to cancers.
Sedatives, help with anxiety, sleep problems, and
some seizures. But if you take more than
prescribed, you can get addicted and result in
breathing problems.
Sleep medicines if taken longer than what doctor
suggests, you may become dependent and need
them to sleep.
Pain killers (eg. morphine) if used above
prescribed dose may even lead to death.
ALCOHOL
Drinking gives your body work to do that
keeps it from other processes. This over
functioning results in damaging the liver.
Abusing alcohol causes bacteria to grow
in your gut

People can develop inflammation of
pancreas.
Drinking too much puts you at risk for
some cancers
It can affect your immune system.
SMOKING
Increases the risk of heart disease,
including stroke, heart attack, vascular
disease, and aneurysm
Lung diseases such as chronic bronchitis
and emphysema.
Cigarette smoking has been linked to
about 80 to 90 percent of all cases of lung
cancer.
Smoking is also associated with cancers
of the mouth, pharynx, larynx, esophagus,
